At this time and age when reminders of high school life have been reduced to yahoogroup posts and memories revived with cue from episodes of One Tree Hill, it is nothing else but refreshing to get together with friends who have seen me through 4 years of adolescent comedies and tragedies.
I have been fortunate to belong in not just one but two sets of amazing people who have constantly kept in touch through the years. Incidentally, I fished my husband from one of these very circles.
Now that most of us (if not all of us) have professional lives to lead and/or families of our own to boost, we don't get to see each other as often. Still, it's nice to know that what we have is something for keeps.
