Yesterday, my two boys and I (and yaya) ventured to a long-delayed and much-awaited trip to Fun Ranch at Tiendesitas. I had been anticipating that the place would be jam-packed because of the long weekend (National Heroes Day), so I made Nicolo wear an ID card, so we wouldn't lose him if the place gets rowdy.
Going there on a weekday proved to be a good idea because there were only a handful of people there. We got the rides almost exclusively for ourselves so Nicolo got to try everything. Tip to parents: buy the ride-all ticket instead of getting one for each ride. We really got our money's worth. Each toddler is allowed to be joined in the ride by a parent or guardian, so Mico and I took turns in riding with Nico. We had so much fun ourselves.
We had lunch at the Blue Whale Grill instead of the popular Big Red Barn because a magic show was scheduled at that time. Food was reasonably kiddie themed so we couldn't expect much of a feast. Still, we can't say we didn't enjoy lunch especially with the dancing mascots (who were all very generous to photo-sessioning parents) as well as the amazing magic show.
We also dropped by Ark Avilon Zoo, which is a stones throw from Fun Ranch. Nico was almost complteley zonked out at that time having spent all his energy running around at Tiendesitas so we just took a couple of pictures and went our way.
